A yacht for all oceans and any weather - from the drift ice fields of the polar regions to the sand banks of the Bahamas. Fast, reliable, very functional and especially safe. Built to discover the world with a small crew or even one-handed, full of confidence in the maximum security that an aluminum yacht can offer.
But even without having to do without any comfort on long journey. The layout of the renowned designer Berckemeyer Yacht Design is very balanced and offers amazing space for a 42-foot yacht both in the cockpit and in the deck salon. While the cockpit, which is well protected from sun and rain, is used as a habitat in typical blue water areas, one will appreciate the large deck salon with 360-degree view in high widths. Here you are always connected to its surroundings and enjoy the view of a beautiful anchor bay.
Under sail, the flexible sailing plan allows easy adaptation to all wind conditions. With the self-turning fock, the cruising becomes hard on the wind to the children's play. In typical light-winding areas you can also sail well at 1-2Bft with code 0 or gennaker and do not need the electric motors.
The hybrid drive of the Viator Explorer 42 DS is another highlight. For up to 2 hours, you can use the completely silent and vibration-free E-drive. The 2x 10KW twin drive offers excellent maneuverability in port maneuvers and with the remote control the boat can be controlled from any position on deck. One way to put on or lay off becomes much more stress-free. For long motor rides, the 10KW generator can be connected, which then offers a theoretical range of 1,000 nautical miles with the 500 liter diesel tank. With the hybrid drive, the Viator Explorer 42 DS is already prepared for future regulations and possibly diesel bans.
Each Viator Explorer 42 DS is designed and built individually to your requirements. It is therefore "Semi Custom" yacht construction and therefore largely flexible in design. Please visit our homepage (link below) for more information.

We are selling our 2020 finished demonstration yacht "VOLT", which corresponds to the performance version with Axxon carbon mast and high-quality laminate sails. It is also equipped with all the extras, including a PTZ camera in the mast top.
Also included in the purchase price is the complete equipment for the long journey incl. Code 0 Light wind sail, 27kg Ultra anchor, 80m Cromox chain, tail anchor, 2x 100m landline, Highfield UL290 Dinghi, Epropulsion Spirit outboard, etc.
The list price is currently (December 2023) 885,000 EUR net / 1,053.150 EUR gross for a new boat without long-distance equipment.
You will receive a 15% discount (= 132.750 EUR net) on our VOLT demonstration yacht. The purchase price is EUR 752.250 net / EUR 895.177.50 gross. VAT is valid.
The price includes, of course, a warranty from yard for 12 months, which covers all defects that might have been present when buying.
